What we believe
- We are living through a destabilizing transformation of our economy and democracy—a transformation accelerated by the technologies and companies we build.
- It should be normal and safe, as people in tech, to care about how our work is shaping our world, share our views, and act on our concerns.
- Tech can serve the common good, and our industry can operate according to principles we can be proud of. This requires more of us to have a role in deciding what tech does and who it serves.
- We have unique responsibility and leverage to ensure that our industry and our leaders operate in the public interest.
- People who align on these points should ally in common cause, across many other differences. We need a variety of tactics and approaches, and have no time to waste.

What we do
Exercise our responsibility
We take action to shape our industry and our society in the public interest. We develop shared sources of expertise. We take calculated risks together.
Protect one another
We make it safer to speak up. We are funded by our members, so we're accountable to ourselves, not outside interests.
Build community
We connect around our common interests, locations, and workplaces. We have fun, strategize, and find courage together.
Who we are
Our community spans the industry, includes groups and individuals, and represents engineers, technical staff, executives, designers and product leaders, business and salespeople, startup founders, investors, and more. Some publicly share their involvement; others choose to keep it private.
